Israel inching towards the i-word, sort of

This war must be to extirpate Hamas, the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, Islamic Jihad and Lion’s Den, and not merely to reduce their capabilities or to disarm them. We are not interested in their murdering fewer Jews less often. We want them gone, all of them, totally and for good.

Part 3

Part 1, Part 2, Part 4, Part 5

Let us look a little deeper into the mind of this enemy, the Muslim, for which it is necessary to understand that the next life, the Ahira, is fundamental to his or her world view and is part of what defines a Muslim, meaning, there is no Muslim who does not believe in the Afterlife because its significance is practical. The whole point of this life is that it is a preparation for the next life. In extreme conceptions, this life is a test for qualifying to enter the next life. A consequence of this belief that the Muslim’s life is antithetical to itself, often expressed as the affirmation, “We love death more than you [kufaar] love life,” which in turn results in anything from disinterest in improving one’s material condition and circumstances, to disdain for such improvement, to open rejection and contempt for anything to do with “this world,” to a craving and impatience for death.

However, merely successfully achieving death is not a sufficient criterion for admission to the Ahira. The yearned-for Afterlife can only commence after the Muslims have killed every single Jew on earth. In other words, only after the Muslims have carried out the original Final Solution, might they be able to redeem their reward for having died Muslim. According to the widely-known genocide hadith, Sahih Muslim 6985:

The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.‌

However, accomplishing the complete annihilation of the Jews still does not guarantee access to Heaven, since Allah is almighty, that is, he the power to do anything he wants. The Muslim accepts that even after he or she has absolutely obeyed Allah in every way down to the minutest detail during every single waking moment, Allah can still send them to Hell because he can do anything he wants. To think this unfair is to commit blasphemy, at best, since it implies that Allah is not almighty, and apostasy at worst, since it challenges the power of Allah.

If the matter ended with such arbitrariness, it would already be more than bad enough, except that over and above all that, “Allah is the best of deceivers”. Muslims worship a God that they themselves cannot trust. Islam is therefore antithetical to itself. Everything about the Muslim negated everything about the Muslim, resulting in messed-up votaries and a congenitally-dysfunctional ummah, and the Jew stands as the first cause of that dysfunction. Jew-hatred is, therefore, an inescapable consequence of the existence of Islam.

This antithesis between Islam and Judaism finds its purest distillation in the existence of the Jewish state of Israel, compounded by her location right in the heart of “Muslim lands,” contemporaneous with a stateless Muslim nation called “Palestinians,” an ingenious Frankenstein creation specifically manufactured for the sole purpose of killing Jews and destroying Israel. Of the Palestinians, Timor Aklin explains:

The Palestinians don’t have a goal. Their goal is to wipe out the Jews, but then, once the Jews are wiped out, what happens next? We wipe each other out. If we can’t wipe each other out, we’ll wait for the Jordanians, or the Egyptians, or the Lebanese or the Syrians, or whatever crazy guy is going to show up fifteen, twenty, thirty, fifty years from now. There is no real vision for a state. That’s not what they’re interested in.

The idea that Israel and Zionism must be destroyed, and the imperative to do so, pre-date the transformation of the Arab Muslims in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria into a “Palestinian nation.” The momentous events surrounding the demise of the Ottomans and their caliphate lead directly to the 1928 founding of the Muslim Brotherhood, an entity both less than and more than a caliphate. It holds no territory, yet exercises supranational jurisdiction, as does Islam. Its Supreme Guide was Hassan el-Banna. In a 1948 interview with American journalist John Roy Carlson, the Supreme Guide pronounced:

We are not eager to have a parliament of the representatives of the people, or a cabinet of ministers, unless such representatives and ministers are Koranic Moslems. If we do not find them, then we must ourselves serve as the parliament. Allah and the religious councils will limit our authority so that no one has to fear dictatorship. We aim to smash modernism in government and society. In Palestine our first duty as Moslems is to crush Zionism, which is Jewish modernism. It is our patriotic duty. The Koran commands it.[1] (My emphasis)

Muslim Brotherhood official, Labib Bey, who boasted to John Roy Carlson of “at least twenty thousand” foreign Muslim volunteers rushing to commit jihad against the Jews in Palestine, told him, “Our boys believe that by fighting the Jew, they will make a place for themselves in paradise. We will not leave Palestine until the last Zionist Jew is silenced.” Carlson quotes the Muslim Brotherhood newspaper, Ikhwan el Muslimin, describing one Palestine-bound contingent arriving at Port Said from Cairo:

Last Sunday was one of Allah’s days in Port Said, for at one o'clock in the morning there arrived the Cairo train filled with people going to fight in the Holy War of Palestine. These faithful believers jumped on to the platform in Port Said, each carrying his own belongings, and marched in line to the Moslem Brothers’ House as compact as the stones of a building. They were enthusiastically and energetically prepared to go on their way to the field of action and to fight for Allah. It was lovely to hear them singing: “Struggle is our way, and to die for Allah our highest ideal.”

These events transpired sixteen years before the “Palestinians,” the caricature of a nation that goes by that name, was conceived in Moscow by the KGB and manufactured in situ to take over “the Holy War of Palestine” and to “fight the Jew… until the last Zionist Jew is silenced.” This Caliban of the Cold War, the Palestinians, therefore, once they had come into existence, would come to represent Islam’s redemption from itself. To destroy the Palestinians is to destroy Islam. Muhammad Bin Salman knows this; Ayatollah Ali Khamenei knows this. Islam is barrelling headlong towards it own Kurukshetra War.

Whatever differences exist between the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Lion’s Den simply reflect the jihad division of labour amongst Palestinians. It is misleading to characterise the Jews’ response to the Simchat Torah Massacre is a war against Hamas. To claim so betrays either ignorance of Islam or cynical manipulation of Israeli Jews. Already we see claims like, “This is a war against Hamas, not against the Palestinians,” directing the focus towards the culpability of Palestinians, and away from the culpability of Islam.

As for the Palestinian state that Muslim Arabs ostensibly want to establish “from the river to the sea,” that cynical campaign is not at all about establishing anything. It is only about disestablishing Israel. If Palestinians have any aspirations at all, they are entirely negative, entirely destructive. Muslims who are not Palestinians still have some room for manoeuvre, since the Qur’an recognises that not every Muslim is temperamentally given to killing. Not so the Palestinians; they had that gene turned off. That Palestinian medical doctor, Marwan Barghouti, cannot bring himself to condemn the cold-blooded Palestinian slaughter of well over a thousand Jews, men, women and children alike, should come as a surprise to no one. When we scale up to Islam, our vision blurs. Major General Amos Yadlin (retired) lamented:

We built a wall that extended 30-40 metres underground. We were very effective against rockets, both long- and short-range, thanks to an early warning system. We have the best anti-rocket system in the world, the Iron Dome. When Hamas understood rockets won't work and tunnels they cannot use, they developed another strategy. This is where Israel failed. Hamas used tactics that superseded Israel.

Observers and analysts have long noted the incredible stagnation and backwardness of Muslim societies, thinking and ethics. We see comparisons between the stunning number of Noble Prizes awarded to Jewish scientists against Muslim societies languishing for lack of science and scientific accomplishments. Yet primitive Hamas confounded an Israeli General’s best technological defences.

Most commentators do not notice that Muslims are full of creativity and ingenuity. It is only that all their creativity and ingenuity go into jihad, fi sabi-lillah, and deceit. Shari’a forbids any other kind of creativity. Muslims frown upon innovation, unless it advances Islam, e.g., by introducing a more barbaric way of killing non-Muslims, or a more subtle way of hoodwinking them. Hamas does it, Palestinians do it, Arabs do it and Muslims do it, all the way up the chain.

If Israelis understood the nature of Palestinians, they would know that nothing will stop them, not even a wall that extended 30-40 metres underground, from coming after Jews to kill them, nothing, except physically removing every single Palestinian from Israel, Gaza and Judea and Samaria plus, and this is most crucial, demolishing Al-Aqsa. This by itself will have the same effect on the Palestinians as desecrating the divinity of Emperor Hirohito had on the Kokka-Shinto faithful. It will shatter the ummah, after which, provided Israel maintains a fearsome military ready to do unspeakable things to Muslims, Jews will be safe.

It is time to write that letter to the Palestinian-sympathising countries, warning them that they had better send ships pronto, lots of ships, because there are other ways of solving the problem for good. This war must be to extirpate Hamas, the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, Islamic Jihad and Lion’s Den, and not merely to reduce their capabilities or to disarm them. We are not interested in their murdering fewer Jews less often. We want them gone, all of them, totally and for good, with those still left alive after this war kept well beyond an iron wall, finally. At this point, dear reader, you might be thinking this writer is going too far. Read on, and you will see why I might not be going nearly far enough. Both Benjamin Netanyahu and Joe Biden have likened Hamas to ISIS. Well, here is ISIS:

The fact is, even if you were to stop bombing us, imprisoning us, torturing us, vilifying us, and usurping our lands, we would continue to hate you because our primary reason for hating you will not cease to exist until you embrace Islam.

And here is Qur’an 9:29, on which the above is based:

Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

“Hamas is ISIS,” says Netanyahu. “With all the anger and frustration,” President Biden counselled him, “it is important that Israel operates in Gaza according to the rules of war.Our rules of war is certainly not how ISIS was defeated. When up against a barbarian enemy, our rules of war are useless. According to mediaeval historian, Laonikos Chalkokondyles, this is what “the rules of war” looked like to fifteenth-century Muslims on jihad:

The sultan’s army entered into the area of the impalements, which was seventeen stades long and seven stades wide. There were large stakes there on which, as it was said, about twenty thousand men, women, and children had been splitted (sic, spitted), quite a sight for the Turks and the sultan himself. The sultan was seized with amazement and said that it was not possible to deprive of his country a man who had done such great deeds, who had such a diabolical understanding of how to govern his realm and its people. And he said that a man who had done such things was worth much. The rest of the Turks were dumbfounded when they saw the multitude of men on the stakes. There were infants too affixed to their mothers on the stakes, and birds had made their nests in their entrails.[2] (My emphasis)

We know from the ecstatic floods of praise and congratulations coming in from around the world that contemporary Muslims look upon the horrific news emerging from Israel, including that of forty babies found gruesomely murdered, some beheaded, and are impressed, just like their Turkish counterparts six centuries ago. It makes them want to rush in from far and wide and join in the blessing. Whatever humanity, whatever compassion, whatever empathy they might have are reserved for Muslims alone. Me and mine against you and yours, always. They quite literally feel nothing in response to the horrific scenes on display in those Hamas trophy videos. If anything, they are proud that, finally, Muslims are bringing Israel and the Jews low, begging for mercy and denied it, as it should be. Let Dr Marwan Barghouti be an example.

Islam is a political economy of barbarian nomadic tribalism, raiding and plundering, with ideology to match. All the values, mores and impulses of barbarian nomadic tribalism inform what Muslims do: attacking, raiding and plundering neighbours for treasure and slaves; hating, brutalising and killing all who are not Muslim; lying to, deceiving and dissimulating to prospective targets, etc. All of this is jihad. What transpired in Israel nine days ago is part of a history going back two-thousand years. Bedouin Arabs have practised jihad raids on settled peoples for at least three centuries before Islam, later to become the canonised driver of their economies. Jizya is simply the domestication of plundered peoples. It would be obscene to say that this massacre has nothing to do with Islam, or that Hamas are not real Muslims, etc. Talking of Hamas in contradistinction to Palestinians is the first step towards doing exactly that.

“Me against my brother; me and my brother against our cousin; me, my brother and my cousin against the stranger,” is ostensibly part of Bedouin lore. Traditionally, jihad can occur at any level, making strength the arbiter of all social interaction. Strength protects against jihad; weakness invites it. Weakness is what Muslims currently perceive in Israel and the West. That a new jihad war would be launched at this time was inevitable. Renowned scholar of Islam, Raymond Ibrahim, explains:

While jihad, fighting the non-Muslim in order to spread Islamic rule, is incumbent, an obligation, it should only be done when Muslims are in a good position to do it. So if they’re weak, they’re not supposed to wage a physical jihad. That’s when they’re supposed to resort to secondary forms of jihad: jihad of the tongue, propaganda; jihad of money, funding whatever benefits Islam, bribing non-Muslims; et cetera.

Iranian alarm at the prospect of open Israeli-Saudi rapprochement is real, but merely a possible catalyst for an event for which all the ingredients were already in place. The risk is that we end up merely mowing the lawn with a vengeance. More of the same with a little extra will be particularly inopportune, as in all the time since 1973, Muslims in general and Palestinians in particular, have moved jihad of the tongue into an especially high gear, boosted by economic blackmail of the West, especially Europe. The Muslims pressed their advantage hard, especially in collaboration with the Soviet Union, when jihad masqueraded as “multiculturalism” in Europe and “Palestinian National Liberation” in the Middle East.

The demise of USSR should have meant the end of both multiculturalism and the Palestine Liberation Organisation. But by then Soviet “ideological subversion” had the Western ’68 generation completely enthralled and its ideological seedlings sprouted a thousand “single issue campaigns,” today morphed into “communities” and “intersectionality.” Communism is dead. Long live communism.

By 1990-91, the PLO, having failed to achieve “national liberation,” and now without its communist umbilical cord, was adrift and increasingly moribund. It was saved from extinction by none other than the Israeli ruling elite itself, that same elite that gave Hamas the safe space in which to run annual summer camps in which it trained the very mass murderers who nine days ago burst through the border, killed, raped and captured Israeli in an orgy of jihad that launched Israel into its current crisis.

Comparing Hamas with ISIS, General Yadli said, "They are killing women, children in a very cold way. This Israel won't tolerate. We are now moving to change the rules of the game." (My emphasis) That is no consolation at all.
