We have all seen Muslims bolt from debates at Speakers' Corner and heard them cut the call on Christian Prince's YouTube channel. When overwhelmed with evidence and unable to dominate, their centre can no longer hold, and things fall apart.

The scholars do not do Shari'a's dirty work themselves. For that they have lay Muslims, who do not like to read, who prefer to listen to scholars and who hear and obey. Such people have already lost their minds and are prepared to lose their lives too, so long as Allah does not lose his panache.

At the end of the day, the closest thing to a guarantee that a lay Muslim has of reaching Paradise, is to kill and be killed in the cause of Allah.
