According to The Guardian, Al-Jolani promised to be nice to US soldiers! WTF! Like the Taliban promised to be nice to women! That’s it! It’s a whole SEVENTEEN DAYS before this administration is gone. I give the planet a 50:50 chance.
Still, why? Why, why, why, why, why? Well, first off, the Syrian refugees in Europe are all celebrating the end of Bashaar al-Assad. Their country is free now. Some are ready to pack their bags. Then it got leaked somehow that if Western governments make out that Syria has a legit government, then they can deport them all back. No more refugees. Time to go, ta-raa. Eeeeoowaaeeemaybenotsofast. They made lives for themselves here: they scammed the welfare state, raped women, drove the pubs out of business, have a very, very, very good relationship with the police, integrated our society well into their Shari’a, reduced the number of surplus buildings, especially churches, kept Jews off the streets – they contributed so much to our country in just ten years. It’d be grossly unfair to send them all back to Syria now that they’re just coming out of their trauma of having been in danger. Besides, they're refugees. It's downright Islamophobic. And the Western governments will remember that Migration Compact they signed back in 2018, suck air through their teeth and say, yeah, hands are tied, mate, no can do, sorry.
Jihad wins in Syria and jihad wins in the West, both accomplished by the West using the same Syrians. You’ve got to take your hat off to that, or your turban, as the case may be.
